About
WikiDash is an independent game that turns curiosity into a race. Find a path between two Wikipedia articles using the links inside each article. Your time and clicks determine the result.
Four ways to explore
- Improve your own time in solo mode, or take turns on the same device.
- Race together in an online room with up to eight players. The host starts a shared countdown when everyone is ready.
- In a country tour, the start and destination come from a curated collection of articles about that country’s cities, history, and culture. Your path can travel through all of Wikipedia.
- The daily challenge releases a new route at 12:30 PM Istanbul time. Everyone using the same Wikipedia language gets the same route. There is one attempt per browser and language; the shared standings use server verified times.
Finding your way
Look at the context around each link: an article about a city can lead to a country, a landscape, an artist, or a food. There is rarely just one route to a destination. Section links stay inside the same article; jumps to different articles add a click. Use article links for navigation and avoid search or browser shortcuts.
